* In pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, patient visits may be allowed once a day by determining the time and duration of the visit by the unit supervisor.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A PATIENT VISIT?
" To meet the needs of the patient outside the hospital (such as medication, clothing)
" To ask for the patient's memory, to provide psychological support
" To get information about the patient's health from the patient's doctor
A patient visit, which is one of the good examples of social solidarity, has a positive effect on the healing process by raising the morale level of your patient when done properly. It also provides you with information about your patient's condition.
WHO OR WHO IS INFORMED ABOUT THE PATIENT'S HEALTH?
" If the patient is an adult and conscious;
The patient or his/her first-degree relative is informed.
" If the patient is unconscious;
First degree relatives are informed.
" If the patient is a child;
The parent is informed.
" No information about the patient is given to third parties. Do not request information from the staff.
